American Psycho: Book Jacket Redesign
The goal of this project was to create, through a marriage of type and imagery, a re-design of a book cover. The Design needed to relate to the content / plot / crux of the book in order to "hook" the potential reader and provide them with insight or intrigue.

Idiosyncratic Poster Design
The goal of this project was to establish a visual metaphor. To create through construction and deconstruction. To form a marriage between traditional and mechanical means of production.
Poster Criteria:
- Utilizes visual metaphors (based around hockey)
- Advertises a (fictional) lecture (about web design)
- Create an admission ticket to the event
Four Page Magazine Spread
The goal of this project was to create a four-page magazine spread and present information in a 'coherent, legible' manner while construction a layout predicated on a grid system. 10" x 7.75" vertical format.
Magazine Criteria
- Maximum of three spot colors, Pantone Solid Coated (non-photographic areas)
- Side Bar with supplemental information
- Content must be single spaced set no larger than 12 point type.
- Uses no more than two typefaces
Five Posters:
Experiment in Type
The goal of this project was to explore methods of organizing and experimenting with type to increase awareness of spatial relationships and opportunities for creating hierachy. All text given must appear only once per poster - including punctuation - and should be grouped in a way that is clear, logical {defendable}, and readable, all using only one font, 'Helvetica Neue'.

- Poster 1: Asymmetrical using only horizontal haselines {unification / isolation}
- Poster 2: Asymmetrical / Diagonial using only 30 degree baselines {direction}
- Poster 3: Flush Left using only horizontal baselines {Texture / Value}
- Poster 4: Flush Right using only horizontal baselines {rhythm}
- Poster 5: Free Placement {spatial depth}
